The COLORLITES method is to coat the clear bottle in smaller quantities to suit the marketing trends and hence keep the Stock levels and Cash flow under control.
We apply a coating to the outside of the bottle which has been prepared to take our material. This is fired on at some 200�C.
The material will stand-up to the humidity of a bathroom, or for sterilisation.
Colours are available in a wide range of the spectrum and in order to try and assist the process of selecting colours we try and use the American Pantone Colour system. - Colour Range

Although this only covers solid Opaque colours it does help us to start around an accepted standard.
The thickness of Glass will give a difference in colour, especially when applying transparent finishes as a result of only one side of the Glass being coated, as opposed to natural glass, in particular with square shaped jars, where the corners are thicker.
The system has been successfully applied to small bottle runs of 300,000
down to flower vases and storage jars in quantities of a handful for special events.
With some finishes the contents can have a bearing on the final visual colour as well as the deposit put down, and where possible the majority of our lacquering is produced on our semi-automatic machines to ensure a more even spray pattern.
Where colour tolerance is essential we make use of a colour measuring camera.
Because of the inherent problems of contamination in coating this kind glass we carry out a 100% inspection to agreed tolerances.
The tolerance will be dependant upon whether the item is to be printed or left plain, and in the case of a transparent finish the effect of the colour of the contents.
Our process also lends itself to the high quality spraying of many small circular item, knobs, tin cans or caps in metals or plastics.
