COLORLITES can produce Bulbs to enhance the old style lamp shades in the home or show off a specific logo or message, by decorating them with patterns.
Colours applied in different ways can give totally different effects. For instance :-
Crown Colours
An effect is produced by coating the top crown of a bulb and reflecting the white light onto a back reflector. At a distance a colour is seen in the middle of a white light.
Stem Colours
A different lamp can be produced by coating only the stem of a pearl or satin finish bulb. A bright light shines upwards and a subtle downward shade is produced.
Likewise it is possible to reverse this effect by producing a strong downward reading light and an upward pastel colour.
Decals
Depending upon the type of decoration this may be applied with a coloured transfer or by direct spraying.
Transfers can take the form of multi coloured versions as on Nursery scenes to a very simple Gold motif for those elegant candle lights.
Pastel Colours
In order to achieve a more relaxing lamp for the home we are able to produce a range of pastel colours allowing a slight variation on white. Where more emphasis is required the bulb can have a coloured base coat applied and a white coat by smoking during lamp manufacture.
Lustre Colours
We regularly coat lustres in Gold, Grey and Pearl and they are very transparent. These are non Cadmium and are capable of withstanding lamp making temperatures, but are not suitable for severe conditions. Other colours are available.
Aluminised Colours
By aluminising one area of the bulb a further enrichment can be achieved, as well as the economies in less handling and separate processing on arrival in your factory. This combination is ideally suited to the range of reflector lamps. Although the colours are not exactly the same in the Reds and Greens as lacquered lamps, they are more durable.
Crinkle Colours
Crinkle finishes and Krokeis to customers own patterns are possible in Lead and Un leaded versions. We have also produced a snow effect for a Christmas display.
