COLORLITES the Chatham based specialist in the colouring of glass for the lamp making industry and small glass container markets, announces the successful completion of a major export order, thanks to its recent investment in a further semi automated production line.
The line was completed less than six months ago having cost some $ 200,000
The Export Order for North Africa consisted of four basic colours Red, Green, Blue and Yellow, and is the largest obtained from this customer.
The order consisted of twenty-two containers and was completed in fourteen weeks as a result of close collaboration with our glass and ceramic suppliers.
Our normal production orders were continued with little disruption and Graham Stirling MD of COLORLITES said " the company was able to set a new record of 100,000 sprays in a day ".
The mix of orders resulted in the company taking in some 4.5 million bulbs and 5 tonnes of ceramic during this period with a tight controlled logistic schedule.
