Worldwide Coloring Service
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
News Release
June 1997
COLORLITES the Chatham based specialist in the colouring of glass for the lamp making industry and small glass container markets, have recently completed a new line.
The line was completed in three months ago having cost some $ 200,000
The line is suitable for the lacquer operation of finished lamps and perfume small perfume bottles, up to a maximum temperature of 270°C.
For quality control we are able to track the temperature of the item as it travels through the 30 metre equivalent oven, thus ensuring the correct curing for the different glass thickness found on bottles.
Items are washed and rinsed before being dried and sprayed, and then proceed to the curing chamber followed by a cooling cycle before being removed and finally inspected.
Speeds of up to 5000 items per hour are envisaged and where close colour control is required samples can be colour checked at regular intervals.
